We offer a range of training and education sessions in a "train the trainer" format or for teams and larger audiences, both online and in-person delivery.
CHALLENGING SEXISM AND MISOGYNY IN THE WORKPLACE
Delivered to police forces, businesses, organisations and managerial teams, this training informs attendees in the prevalence and impact of sexism and misogyny in the workplace and arms individuals with the confidence and tools to be able to disrupt and challenge such behaviour within teams.
With 72% of women experiencing sexual harassment in the workplace and 94% of men citing masculine anxiety around the issue, being able to identify, challenge and stop sexist behaviour and implementing a zero-tolerance stance on misogyny must be a priority for all employers. This training session will educate your teams on how this can be achieved through improved communications, agreed benchmarks and mutual intervention.

ACTIVE BYSTANDER SEXUAL VIOLENCE INTERVENTION TRAINING
For those working in the night-time economy and beyond, this training is directed at public-facing teams who have the capacity to intervene in incidents of sexual violence. Sexually violent behaviour is preceded by certain unique behaviours which are often not covered by other bystander training services which look at violence in general.
This session educates individuals on the prevalence and impact of violence against women and girls, how to identify incidents of threats of sexual violence, how to intervene effectively and victim-focus response.

UNDERSTANDING AND IMPROVING THE EXPERIENCES OF WOMEN - TRAINING YOUR TEAM TO BE CUSTODIANS OF CULTURE
A lot of the reason that actions are not taken on improving women's safety is purely down to the fact that data and research is not shared widely enough. There isn't enough exposure to research and statistics. Our training is not about telling people how to act or telling them what they are doing incorrectly. It's about education. In order for change to happen in women's safety, we need to inform, and we need men to truly understand how women feel, even when they think they aren't doing anything wrong. What we ask is for men to be open to the information we deliver and we need them to get on board with helping to change our culture for the better.
Our academic research shows that women often change their behaviour dependent on how safe they feel and will actively avoid certain areas and venues as a precaution. When enjoying a night out, recent surveys show that entertainment and nighttime economy venues could increase their custom by up to 53% if they had a clear policy on harassment and women's safety.*
Our cultural training on centring the experience of women in your place of work, business or organisation educates your staff or teams on how to create a safe space for women. We can provide training for whole teams or just designated members, as interactive, in-person sessions.
